There are moments in life when everything you’ve built slips through your fingers — the home, the marriage, the work that defined you. I’ve lived that.
My name is Jason Balan, and after losing my home, my business, and nearly everything I worked for, I made a decision: I’m not staying down.
I’ve always built things — computers, companies, solutions — and now I’m building something simple, real, and local. Something that gets me back on my feet, and gives back to the city I love.
That something is Citraplus.ca — a small Alberta business delivering fresh-cut lemons and limes to bars and restaurants.
Citraplus isn’t just about fruit. It’s about clean work, honest effort, and second chances. Every box I prepare is proof that life can be rebuilt — not with shortcuts, but with steady, deliberate work and pride in the small things done right.
Why I Started This
After my divorce, I was left with nothing. No home, no tools, no safety net. I’ve slept in my car more than once. But through it all, I kept the one thing no one could take — my drive to rebuild.
Citraplus is my path forward. A way to turn hard work into dignity again.
It’s small, but it’s real. And like every rebuild, it starts with help.
